Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any queries about our tours, it's likely you'll find the answer here. Do get in touch if your question relates to something not listed and we'll get back to you as quickly as we can.

How do we get more details about tours?

Click on the ‘contact us’ button on our website or send an email to us at info@londononlegs.com.  Give brief details of the tour you are interested in, or tell us that you would like us to tailor-make one especially for you to a destination of your choice. We will then get to work crafting an itinerary for your most memorable tour. Alternatively, you can call Abraham at any time on 00 44 (0) 7900 143926.

What’s included and not included in tour costs?

For our extended country tours, accommodation, all transport at destination, all meals and entry fees to all attractions are included.  Flight, visa and travel insurance costs and coach driver gratuities (these are optional) are not included. There are no hidden extras. For our London walking tours, the price you will pay is that noted on our website. For these tours, the price does not change if the number of participants goes up as long as the number does not exceed the maximum stated.

Where will we meet our guide?

For our London walking tours, a convenient meeting point for you to meet your guide(s) will be agreed well in advance. For our extended country tours, the guide{s} will meet and greet the group at port of arrival.

How many people are typically in a group?

We provide tours for groups of people that know each other. We never add people from outside the group.  Our groups are often from schools, colleges, universities, corporates, sports teams, religious organisations, etc. We are always happy to craft tours for other group types too. Our extended country tours can vary in size from 5 to 500 participants, but our typical group size is around 50 participants. Our London walking tours are limited to the numbers shown on our website.

Is there any age limit to be part of a group and do you cater for travellers with special needs?

Unfortunately, we cannot currently cater for children under 12 years old unless they are accompanied by at least one parent or guardian, even if they are part of a school group.  Groups of children between 12 and 18 years old must be part of a school or similar group with adequate supervision by teachers or other staff from their school. Of course, there is no upper age limit. We are always delighted to cater for any participants with special needs. We just ask to be made aware beforehand so that we have everything in place for a great tour.

What is the accommodation type for extended country tours?

This depends on your preferences. We can book everything from majestic castles to 5-star hotels to hostel accommodation. We can discuss all options with you and you can then inform us of your preferred option.

Can you cater for special dietary requirements?

Of course, we provide full meals menus for all our extended country tours well in advance of tour start date, specifically noting meal contents for those with special requirements.

Can you help arrange visas?

Yes, we will happily issue visa support letters for those who need them once a booking is complete.

What does a typical extended country tour itinerary look like?

This depends on the specific tour you would like us to craft. However a typical day will include sightseeing highlights, activities and meals. We advise that you look at some snapshots of itineraries on our website for tours that we have already provided.

Will we feel and be safe on tours?

Our number one priority is always the safety and well-being of our tour participants.  We provide a detailed risk assessment for every tour we do and this gives loads of information and advice on staying safe. We only work with trusted partners (transport providers, guides etc,) who have proved to us that they are capable of keeping all tour participants out of harm’s way.  On all our tours, the group is assigned a personal travel consultant who will be with them every step of the way and who is first aid-certified.

What if someone in the group falls ill?

We will ensure that if anyone falls ill they will get prompt medical attention if they desire it. Additionally, we will have someone stay with them if required until they are fully recovered.

Should we purchase travel insurance?

We advise having travel insurance for our extended country tours.

When do we pay?

After we have crafted an itinerary for you, you will receive a no-obligation quote with payment terms. Typically, a 50% deposit is required on acceptance of quote, with 25% payable 7 days before the tour start date and the remaining 25% payable on tour start date.

Can we cancel a tour after booking?

Our cancellation policy is flexible. Our London walking tours can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the tour start time for a full refund. For our extended country tours, we ask for 60 days’ notice to cancel for a full refund.  Full cancellation policy will be noted in quotes for all our tours.

Is there a baggage limit?

For our extended country tours, we advise one medium-sized baggage piece and one hand-carry bag per participant. This is to help ensure that all baggage will fit in coach holds etc. and that there will be room for any additional baggage/equipment that anyone with special needs may need to bring along.

Are your prices competitive?

Very. We will always beat other providers for the same tours that we provide. Talk to us about the best deal that we can do for you.

Can we have a meeting to discuss our tour interests?

Absolutely. We are always delighted to offer in-person or remote meets to discuss your requirements. You will be welcome to our base in London for an in-person meet or we will be happy to travel to you if you’d prefer.

What language(s) are the tours in?

Our London walking tours can be provided in any language you require.  Our extended country tours can also be provided in any language. We advise, though, that the group leader has at least some basic abilities in the language of the country being visited.

What if I have a question that’s not answered here?

We know that occasionally someone may have a question that is not answered here.  If you have one (or more), just send it to us via the contact page and will be delighted to send you a full response.
